- Intel or AMD processor with 64-bit support and SSE4.2 instruction set
- 4GB RAM
- Working GPU with OpenGL 3.0 core profile support
- 1920x1080 display
- 300Mb disk space for installation, plus 200Mb for common undo operations
- Linux 64-bit or Windows 10 64-bit (32 bit systems are NOT supported)
- On Linux, a compositing window manager
- Keyboard and mouse until technology for mind control matures enough

Supported Linux distributions
Dalii is built on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS hosts and is tested on the following distros:
- Ubuntu 19.04
- Debian 10.3
- Fedora 31
- Manjaro 18.1.5
- Elementary OS 5.1
- MX Linux 19
Other distributions might (should) work but are untested.
